A multi-family home that has, as an example, 3 apartments within it may be only 2200 sq. ft., so some may ask, why aren't I charged for the square footage like a single family home? What needs to be kept in mind is there are 3 separate systems that need to be inspected. 3 kitchens, 3 plumbing systems, 3 electrical systems, etc. Some circumstances may be different, i.e., bathroom and kitchen sharing, so the pricing would be adjusted accordingly.
